As the year draws to a close, businesses often reflect on what they’ve achieved over the past 12 months and what they can improve on going forward. We hope your business has benefitted from a prosperous year. We’ve had a brilliant year ourselves, one of the main highlights being exhibiting at the national Education Estates Expo and Conference at Manchester Central Conference Complex on the 1st and 2nd of November.
What is Education Estates?
Supported by the government’s Education & Skills Funding Agency, Education Estates Exhibition is the annual coming together of all those who work in or have a vested interest in the journey to making educational facilities a reality. Visitors to the Exhibition include decision-makers, experts and influencers involved at every stage of the process, from funding applications and project planning, to the design, installation or refurbishment of educational buildings and facilities.
Why did we attend Education Estates?
Attending the thriving and busy event enabled us to:
- Introduce and showcase our high quality eco-friendly modular timber classrooms directly to key decision -makers in the education sector from our stand.
- Network with like-minded experts in modular classrooms and professionals in other associated aspects of educational buildings, such as fire safety and security to share insights about eco and educational buildings, including what we’ve learnt from past projects we’ve worked on.
- Chat to other professionals in the industry to find out what challenges they currently face or have overcome in the past, so we can offer them solutions whilst improving our own service and products.
- Gain valuable feedback via face-to-face discussions so we could enhance our product development.

How did we find the Education Estates Exhibition and Conference?
Our Sales and Marketing Coordinator, Becky Copping said: “We found the exhibition very interesting and we left the exhibition after two days feeling very positive for 2018.
“We spoke with many local authorities, suppliers and architects who showed their interest in our products. This has been followed up with a product brochure being posted out, with hopes to discuss potential works in the future.”
Next year’s Education Estates Exhibition and Conference will be held on 16th-17th October 2018 at Manchester Central Conference Complex and is a must attend event for any one in the education facilities industry.
