As legally-aware and safety conscious playground equipment manufacturers we know how important it is that every member of our Bridge Timber team is accredited, well-trained and checked in all aspects of health and safety and child protection. Being playground equipment manufacturers and producers and designers of Eco Classrooms constructed from timber we also have a responsibility to become a business that, wherever possible, uses timber from responsibility managed forests. We are proud members and/or affiliates of the following organizations, appropriate to our role as playground equipment manufacturers. • Action for Children

  Action for Children are a children’s charity providing support and services for vulnerable children throughout the UK.  As an affiliate, we work to help young people achieve their full potential whatever the circumstances.

• Constructionline

  Constructionline carry out checks to confirm the suitability of companies to work within both the Public and Private sector. Bridge Timber Products Ltd have been pre-qualified by Constructionline, to meet these requirements and government standards.

• Criminal Records Bureau (Disclosure and Barring Service)

  Together with our own vetting and employment processes, all members of our team who work on our playgrounds have full CRB (now DBS) Checks prior to employment.  These checks are maintained regularly to ensure complete safety for both your children and staff.

• CHAS Accredited Contractor

  The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK.  Our processes, products and services have been confirmed and accredited by the organisation.

• Accredited by ROSPA

  The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents provides health and safety training and aims to save lives and reduce injuries by promoting safety at work.  As members of the scheme, our practices and staff have been vetted to ensure our practices and products are developed to an extremely high standard of safety.

• Made in Britain

  The Made in Britain scheme promotes British manufacturing in the UK and overseas through advocating the use and sale of British made products and produce. Wherever possible, we source and develop our products in the UK. As well as providing a positive impact on the economy, we also believe the use of UK products helps guarantee a high standard of quality products and materials.
